WTNC (World Tuesday Night Championships) Races

Organized by Escape Velocity (EV), this is the most prestigious and long-running weekday series in BC. It’s where the high-performance crowd goes to sharpen their racing teeth.

The Venue(s): Historically, WTNC alternates between two locations:

Glenlyon (Burnaby): A technical, rectangular industrial park circuit. It’s known for high-speed corners and a slight rise to the finish that rewards powerful sprinters.

UBC (Vancouver): A much wider, more "open" course around the university's south campus. It’s faster and often feels more tactical.

The Vibe: High-intensity and professional. Because it’s a sanctioned "Grassroots 100" event, you can earn points toward category upgrades.

Prerequisite: If you are new to racing, you must complete EV’s "Learn to Race" (LTR) clinic before you’re allowed to line up. They take safety seriously.

2026 Season: Typically runs from May through August.
