The Wix Brown Circuit Race is a staple of the early-season road cycling calendar in British Columbia. Often referred to simply as "Wix Brown," it is a fast-paced, criterium-style road race held in the Otter neighborhood of Langley.
Here is what you need to know for the 2026 season:
Location: Wix-Brown Elementary School (23851 24 Ave, Langley, BC).
Organizer: Local Ride Racing, a well-known BC cycling group based out of Maple Ridge.
🚴 The Course
The race is a "circuit race," meaning it takes place on a relatively short loop (approx. 6.5 km) that riders complete multiple times depending on their category.
Terrain: Mostly flat with some rolling sections. It is known for being fast and technical due to the rectangular nature of the rural blocks.
Vibe: Since it takes place in early March, the weather is often a major factor—expect anything from crisp sunshine to sideways rain and wind. It is one of the "Spring Classics" of the Lower Mainland.
